Westside Little League Annual Meeting

Get ready for a new season! As we gear up for another exciting year of baseball, we invite you to our Annual Meeting on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 6:30 PM. The meeting will be held at the Twain Harte Community Center.

This meeting is a vital part of our league’s operations. We’ll reflect on the past season and, most importantly, nominate and vote in volunteer board members to help lead and grow Westside Little League. Our league thrives because of the dedicated parents and volunteers who generously contribute their time and talents—and we need your help to continue that tradition.


All Board Positions:

 

  • President: Provides leadership for the league, presides over all meetings, and serves as the primary contact with Little League International.

  • Vice President: Presides in the absence of the President, works with other officers and committees, and acts as an ex-officio member of all committees.

  • Player Agents (2): Act as representatives for players and parents. They manage team assignments, ensure league rules are followed, and handle player-related issues.

  • Safety Officer: Maintains a safety plan for the league and oversees safety-related issues.

  • Secretary: Maintains a complete record of all board meetings, keeps accurate league records, and handles all official correspondence.

  • Umpire-In-Chief (UIC): Coordinates the league umpire program. Recruits, trains, and retains volunteer umpires.

  • Coaches Coordinator: Represents coaches and managers. Distributes training materials and coordinates mini-clinics.

  • Uniform Coordinator: Manages the distribution, collection, and inventory of uniforms. Orders new uniforms as needed.

  • Equipment Manager: Maintains and distributes all team equipment. Ensures all items are in good condition and performs minor repairs.

  • Division Liaisons (4): Act as the communication link between the board and coaches in each division.

  • Field Coordinator: Maintains and improves fields and structures (e.g., benches, backstops, sheds).

  • League Information Officer: Manages the league website and online registration. Serves as the GameChanger Admin and distributes information to families, the public, and media.

Each of these roles is essential to the success of our league. Whether you have experience or are simply passionate about supporting youth sports, we welcome your involvement!
