Dear Parents and Coaches,

Westside Little League has decided to follow the guidance of Little League and delay the start of the season to April 6, 2020 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19). Games scheduled prior to April 6 will be cancelled and not rescheduled at this time. Practice for all teams should be suspended as of 3/15/2020. We ask that all coaches do not have organized practices during this time and teams will be allowed to continue practicing when kids are back at school.  

Pictures originally scheduled for March 28, 2020, will also be cancelled. We are working on a plan to reschedule pictures following the start of the season.

Machine pitch and Tee-ball schedules have been posted or handed out to coaches. Major and Minor schedules should be posted later this week. The schedules will NOT reflect the changes to the start of the season. As of now, games scheduled for the first week of the season will not be rescheduled and should not be played.  Uniforms are ready for handout and additional communication will go out to coaches early next week about pickup time.

We will continue to monitor the events as they unfold and will make additional changes as needed. Should Little League determine that the recommended delay of the season will extend past April 6, 2020, we will provide timely notification and information regarding the impact of such delay.
